Hannah's Willberry Wonder Pony - the story behind the charity

In July this year, it was announced that Hannah's Willberry Wonder Pony Charity would be funding a ground-breaking research project into a rare type of bone cancer, osteosarcoma.

This is a fantastic legacy for Hannah Francis, the young woman behind the charity. Diagnosed with osteosarcoma in 2015, aged 17, what started as a fundraiser for a wig has grown into an official charity that helps the people affected by cancer and now, the research into it.

Hannah tragically passed away aged 18. In this video, we speak to Hannah's parents, James and Rachel, about Hannah's experience and the development of the charity.

We also visit Georgie Horrell, Julia Godbold and Sam Elms who, together with Sally Barr, founded The Wobbleberry Challenge. The challenge inspires 'wimpy' riders to seize the opportunities they have - in memory of Hannah's determination - and complete a BE80(T) while raising funds for the charity.

Finally, we meet Claire Reeves, who has been undergoing treatment for breast cancer. Not only has she received coaching lessons as part of the Willberry's Wishes scheme, she is also a Wobbleberry and will be doing her first BE80(T) very soon.
