Our favourite outfits in the First Horse Inspection at Badminton

We love Badminton first timer Hazel Towers’ look. She wears Holland Cooper, teaming a coated jean with long line jacket and Trilby hat, bridging the gap between smart and casual. She tops this off with the Fairfax and Favour 'Kensington Boot'. Hazel and her own Simply Clover did their dressage test on Thursday at 12.06.

Ahead of his dressage test on Philip and Sally Ellicott’s Zagreb at 11.10am on Friday, Alexander Bragg makes a statement in Holland Cooper, donning the 'St James Waistcoat' and 'Jacket', with burgundy accents, topped off with 'Baker Boy' Tweed Flatcap.

Sarah Bullimore looked the picture of style in coordinating Trilby, polar neck and handy height Fairfax and Favour 'Electra Boot'. She is due to do her dressage at 10.18am on Friday with Brett Bullimore’s Reve du Rouet.

Will Furlong makes his second trip down the Badminton runway, combining Holland Cooper and the 'Oxford Shirt Company' with smart shades and Fairfax and Favour 'Chelsea Boot'. Will and the Acorn Syndicate’s Collien P 2 are third to go in the dressage on Friday at 9.46am.

Dressage for the Mitsubishi Motors Badminton Horse Trials kicks off today (May 2) for two days ahead of cross country on Saturday 4 May and show jumping on Sunday 5 May.
