DON'T USE - Exercise to maintain rhythm and straightness

This useful jumping exercise with BE Accredited Coach, Lisa Morris, is all about maintaining a line and a good rhythm. 

  • Set up three poles on the ground in a zig zag \ / \ pattern with the centre of each pole approximately 24ft / 7.3metres apart.

  • Canter down the poles looking straight down the line and up at all times, allowing the poles to come to you. 

  • Once you are cantering straight down the poles in a nice rhythm, repeat the exercise but with the middle pole up to make a small fence, then with the middle and first pole up and finally with all three poles up.
